About OC Auto Guide

We’re here for South Orange County drivers who need help with a BMW / European car or brakes — mostly Mission Viejo, Laguna Hills, and Lake Forest.

We don’t wrench the car. We don’t take repair payment. We’re not a dealership, and we’re not a government office. Drivers can always call a shop direct or do the work themselves — this site exists for the days when you want a shorter path to a bay that fits.

How we pick shops

You want quality work, a shop that can take you soon, and a place with a real reputation — not a random pin on a map. Before we connect you, we look for:

• They answer — a real person on the phone
• They know the car — BMW and European work when that’s what you drive; brakes done right, including modern systems
• Clear pricing — quotes and invoices you can follow; no surprise fees buried in the fine print
• Real hours — a bay that’s actually open, with times they can keep
• A warranty they honor — if the work goes sideways, they stand behind it

No fake star stacks. No “#1 in Orange County.” When a named shop partners with us, you’ll see who they are. Until then, these are the standards — not invented hours on a fake address.

Why this exists

Good shops get buried under dealer ads and thin directories that treat every zip as the same. Drivers burn a morning calling the wrong place. Shops that could have helped never hear the phone ring.

What we won’t pretend
